Sage Church, DO
Busy mom of two ahhmazingly busier boys, Dr. Sage Church is a lifelong Michigander who grew up on a horse farm in the small town of Grant, MI.
Her natural inclination towards helping and caring for others developed at an early age. Her early childhood experiences loving and caring for her horses and other animals on her family farm provided her with the nurturing environment needed to bridge this love and passion seamlessly with her career pursuits in both pediatric and aesthetic care.
Recognized as “Top Doc” by Detroit Hour Magazine (2016, 17, 19, 20, 21), and awarded Metro Detroit Parent Magazine’s “Mom-Approved Docs” in 2019, Dr. Church received her medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011.
A board certified pediatrician with Ascension St. John’s Hospital from 2014-2023, practicing out of Detroit, Macomb, and Rochester Campuses. Dr. Church specialized in newborn medicine, and offered Full-Spectrum Pediatric Outpatient Care during her near decade-long tenure there as a staff pediatrician.
In addition to this, Dr. Church was the Associate Program Director for Ascension St. John Hospital Pediatric Residency Program through 2019, and also practiced at St. John Eastside Pediatrics and Adult Urgent Care from 2014-2018. Holding numerous licenses, certifications, and professional affiliations. Dr. Church is licensed with the American Board of Osteopathic Pediatricians: Board Certified as of May 15, 2015. Her professional affiliations and memberships include the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians (ACOP), Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics (COMSEP), and Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD). Her clinical interests also extend to newborn medicine, ADD/ADHD and behavioral health, and adolescent medicine. Dr. Church completed her aesthetics training at Beautiphi Academy in Rochester Hills, MI in Nov. 2020, since then she has enjoyed providing mobile aesthetics services and collaborating with local small businesses. She is excited to provide her clients with a welcoming, upscale new medical spa to enhance their aesthetic experience and appearance. For Dr. Church, landing in the town of Romeo, MI to embark on this next chapter in her personal and professional adventures is like a homecoming from her humble farmgirl roots that she is tickled to enthusiastically mermaid dive right into (did we forget to mention that she loves mermaids?). Oh, and if all of this experience, accolades, and awards weren’t enough, Dr. Church is also fluent in Spanish.

Mary Claire Rawlings-Esper
Mary Claire, RN received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Detroit Mercy and began her nursing career in 2012 as the Trauma Program Manager at St. John Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Outside of her professional career, Mary lives on her farm in Armada, MI with her husband, new baby girl, and foster son where they grow corn, wheat, and soybeans.

Throughout her career Mary Claire’s experience and nursing education has continued to blossom, evolve, and expand into various nursing specialties including registered flight nurse with REACH Air Medical Services, Trauma Nurse Coordinator at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Pre-Op/PACU/Recovery room RN at Henry Ford Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI, and Emergency Dept. RN at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, MI.
Academically and professionally Mary Claire is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, Society of Trauma Nurses, Michigan Trauma Coalition, Michigan Emergency Pediatric Committee, and Pediatric Trauma Society. Mary Claire is also an EAST Associate Member, Michigan System Verification Site Reviewer, is TCAR Certified, OPTIMAL, TOPIC, ICD 9/ICD 10 certified.
Nurse Injector
Jennifer Pelshaw
Boy mom of two, Jennifer, BSN, RN, MSN, FNP-C, has been an internal medicine, family nurse practitioner since 2016. Upon completion of her Masters of Science in Nursing from South University in Novi, MI. in 2022, Jennifer received her Injector Certification from Beautiphi in Rochester, MI.

In addition to chasing her two young boys around, Jennifer’s love of people and passion for keeping them looking like their best, younger version of themselves led her to begin a career in aesthetics with fellow injector Megan Trybula in July 2022.
Jennifer’s professional experience includes Float Traveler ICU Pool Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse, Critical Care Medical Unit Nurse, Internal Resource Pool Nurse, Pediatric Emergency Room Nurse, and Staff Nurse. Jennifer is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner, and Registered Nurse, and certified aestethic nurse injector. Jennifer’s personal affiliations include American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and she also recently trained with Elite Injectors in Orlando with Cadaver models.

Megan Trybula
Megan Trybula, BSN, RN, MSN, NP-C, began her nursing education in 2004 at Oakland University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by her Masters in Nursing from South University. In addition to these, Megan also received her Advanced Injector Training from BeautiPhi Academy in 2023.
Megan served as RN, and Medical Intensive Care RN at Henry Ford Hospital up until 2016. Currently Megan serves as Nurse Practitioner at Ascension St. John’s in Detroit. As NP Megan performs health history checks and physical exams in order to implement treatment plans, which may include further diagnostics testing, referral to specialists, and prescription of pharmacological and non-pharmacological agents. Megan also began her aesthetic career with longtime friend, Jennifer Pelshaw. Megan’s certifications and affiliations include Certified Injector (2022), Certified Family Nurse Practitioner- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (2016), Registered Nurse- State of Michigan (2010), BLS Certified, DOT Certified Medical Exam.
Practice Administrator
Melissa Molnar
Practice Administrator Melissa Molnar is the trusted glue that holds Baby Face & VIPeds together with her years of operational experience in healthcare, financial management, and strategic planning. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail ensure the smooth running of Dr. Church’s practices. In her free time Melissa loves her Red Wings, country music concerts, burying her toes in a warm sandy beach with an ice cold drink, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.
